An upcoming science fiction movie, Avatar 2, sequel of previously released film Avatar, is all set to resume shooting in Coronavirus-free New Zealand.

Director, co-producer, co-writer, and editor of the movie, James Cameron has announced on Monday, the filming will bring job opportunities for many people and generate a big amount of revenue for New Zealand in this devastating period in terms of the economy when many of people have gone jobless due to this deadly outbreak, and it must be great news to the country.

Though the country’s borders are sealed to prevent the incoming and outgoing flights to keep the virus out of the nation, film’s whole essential members including its Director Cameron and Producer Jon Landau were given a special grant to take a flight to New Zealand about 14 days ago, this aired the vibes of unfair treatment.

Landau told the media, ” by this single production company, New Zealand is going to gain much, as it will adorn 400 New Zealanders with employment to work with the production.

The company is going to spend over $70 million in the coming five months.

In March, film shooting was paused due to a coronavirus outbreak that led the country to the strict lockdown with cautious measures.

Lockdown in the country caused the country to move towards the pre-pandemic normality, as the  PM Jacinda Ardern declared the nation a coronavirus-free zone. The country lifted all the restrictions except border controls, it is still in its place.

The film is among a handful of productions getting going in New Zealand, which hopes to win more film business after its successful campaign against the coronavirus.

This hopefully will bring the economy towards a better path, as the producer said, it was an immense opportunity for the people of New Zealand.

The film is expected to be released on December 18, 2021. Let us wait for this mesmerizing movie.
